We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. The Vent app stores diary content on your device; Workband does not receive your diary text through the app in normal use.

4. Plausible Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics on this website. Plausible is designed to collect aggregated usage data without cookies used for cross-site tracking. For more information see Plausible’s privacy documentation. We configure Plausible for vent.work.band only.
5. Hosting and logs
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may process IP addresses and technical logs for security and operation. Retention is limited per the host’s policy.
6. International transfers
If our email or analytics providers process data outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. UK IDTA / adequacy) as applicable. Our waitlist email provider is Loops (loops.so). Analytics are provided by Plausible.
7. Vent app (summary)
When you use the Vent app:
- Diary entries and conversations are stored encrypted on your device.
- Transcription and Personal AI run on device after models are downloaded.
- Vault content is not uploaded to Workband for storage or AI training in normal use (vents and Conversations).
- Raw audio is deleted after transcription.
- Network use is mainly for the one-time model download.
Export/import of vault archives is your choice. See in-app settings.
8. Your rights
You have rights under UK data protection law including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability where applicable. Contact contact@work.band. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
9. Children
Our website and Vent are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data on this site.
10. Changes
We will update this policy and the date above when practices change.
